Assistant Professor

The Department of Mathematics anticipates openings for three to four tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level starting Fall 2008. Candidates must have a Ph.D. and demonstrate evidence of excellent teaching ability and outstanding research potential. Highly qualified candidates in all mathematical disciplines are encouraged to apply; probability, algebra, number theory, geometry, and topology are areas of particular, but not exclusive, focus of the search.
