Introduction to Graduate Mathematics

The following courses offer preparation at the entry graduate level in each of the three classical core areas of mathematics, namely Analysis, Algebra and Geometry/Topology. Honors graduates from UConn are encouraged to take at least one of these advanced courses. Students in the Honors Program receive Honors credit for these courses.
  • Math 261, Introduction to Modern Analysis
  • Math 265, Abstract Algebra I
  • Math 267, Introduction to Geometry and Topology
